Supercross at Ford Field this Saturday

Is anyone in the Detroit Metro area heading to the supercross race at Ford field this Saturday? I've had my tickets for a few months and am really looking forward to it.

Also for any of the Honda fans, Team Honda HRC and Geico Honda riders will be at Genthe Honda Powersports in Southgate (15150 Eureka Road). They had free T-shirts and food last year so if you're into that sort of thing head over. The signing event is on Friday at 6:00 PM.

I'm pretty sure all the factory teams will be at one location or another in the Metro area. The Yamaha guys will be at Rosenau on Ford Road in Dearborn Heights (no mention of it on the Events calendar for Rosenau but this is what I heard). Not sure about the KTM or Suzuki guys. I think the KTM guys were way out on the east side last year (Chesterfield Township or something like that).

This will be my third year. We're showing up about 3:00 to watch some of the practice races.

It was cool that we could bring in a backpack. Brought some munchies , pop, water in with us.

That's good to know! Typically, events like this are so restrictive. And paying for concessions can cost a fortune.
