350x what gas to run

I got a 86 350x, and its all just been rebuilt, i am woundered what gas i should run now, its has more compression then stock to, i have been running 94 and its flys, i can have 87 gas for free, but should i just pay for the better gas? what do you guys run in your 350x's

I run 91 in my 250r's if that helps

I run the best in all of my trikes, the tanks are small and the cost of filling them dosn't kill me.

i would run the best gas u could get untill it gets broken in

Running higher octane than what you need is a total waste of money and will not gain anything. When most of the trikes were built 89 octane leaded gas was pretty standard.
Increasing compression may require higher octane fuel, depending on how much. If you get 87 octane gas free, Id try it. If it knocks and pings, dump it, and run higher octane fuel.
