1986 200x Tail Light

I recently bought an oem tail light on eBay with mounts for my 200x but, for the life of me, I can't figure out how it is supposed to mount on the trike. Is it supposed to mount on the grab bar somehow (which I'm missing)? If anyone who has an '86 or an '87, if they're the same, could post a picture, it would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to know too. Looked in my service manual, but couldn't really find anything. I know it looks like they mount to something with a generally flat edge.
