I asked this question not too long ago. Another thing to note is the problem with the rear kicker on the CR.

not sure who it is, but there is a guy on the site who did it. look at ppl's sig's and you'll be aable to find out. talk to him, he might know how to do it.

Anything is possible. If people can overcome the rearward kickstarting problem of a CR500 engine stuffed into an ATC250, then there is certainly a way to do a CR250 engine.

Yes, anything is possible, I just put a kick-starter from a QT50s moped on my zinger, and its freaking great  .I had to cut my fenders up,but cool anyway. As long as you have the know-how, and the resources, it is possible.I will try to post pics of that kick start.

how do the side covers match up?? Can you put the workings for the ATC inside the CR, and put the ATC/TRX cover on??

Thats how the guy did my YZ motor in my Tri Z.. just put a Tri Z cover and kicker on, so it would still kick forward.

Chainsaw, good idea. Unfortunately, unlike a YTZ engine, which is based on the YZ's, the ATC/CR engines share few similarities.
