Hi, I am wondering if anyone has any tips on rebuilding the front forks on my ATC200M? I have a manual, but am wondering if there are some things to keep in mind/avoid doing, etc. Also wondering if the parts like the springs, seals, damper, etc are still available? And how much it would cost to do a total rebuild? I am figuring since it is 33 years old the forks might need to be gone through, they are pretty soft, and somewhat squeaky.
Thanks
Starting soaking your bolts in pb blaster, kroil etc, right now.

Alright, thanks for the tip. Do you know anything about parts availability? I did a search on here, couldnt find too much info.
I've never worked on a 200m. Try partzilla or bike bandit for parts

Not hard at all. The service manual will walk you right through it. The only part you need is new fork seals and fork oil. I use 15 weight in mine. The seals are really cheap on ebay and the fork oil is usually right at your local motorcycle dealer.
