I have a article about the tri-z conversion, it says "braking action from the grimeco components wasn't quite up to our expectations" hope that helps. the kit they used was a astro kit and it used susuki quadsport front rims.

I have a nice book from Hi Performance ATV who make the Astro kit, if I remember it gives a break down of what parts they use, if your interested let me know and I"ll try to get it scanned in the next few days.
We got the book because they also make a 185s rear suspension kit along with kits to make the kx60 and I think 80cc bikes into quads.

You dont want to use the Astro brakes. Theyre not adequate for a mini quad. They are not made by any ATV company. See my post in the Quad Forum "Quad-Z vs 250R" and I go over this at length.
Ive got the Astro Kit instruction manual with mine, but it doesnt do you much good. The company no longer exists, as best as I can tell, and the phone number is no longer valid.

hey, I've got an astro instruction book, but no mention of what brand. I tried to contact them about 2 years ago for a kit, for the monster. They were out of business, but sold the mini buggy part to a place in phoenix. they may be able to get the info you need. they had a web site advertised in dirt wheels. If you can't find it, let me know, I'll look in the old issues.
oh yea, I've still got the video that came with the catalog!!

Here they are, note a few things, on the Jawa CZ 250r, the engine looks different any idea what it is? I also love the 200r seat cover, yet it looks to have 200x style vavle covers, also the one Z has a Cal Fab.
