Strange Key Problem 250ES

Picked up a 85 250es the other day and its got a strange issue goin on. The thing runs with the key in the on or off position. Only have dash lights and headlight with key in on position. Have to use kill switch to shut it down. I had an other 85 250es years back that had similiar problems and never figured it out on that one. Any ideas on whats up?

Ignition switch is bad . Probably came unsoldered on the back of the switch, I've seen this a few times .
