I have a chassis of a 200x and I want to put a engine in it what are my options? Is there any one who sells a crate engine for the 200x? I want to have a manual clutch so the auto 200x is kind of out of the picture unless the price is right. Is there any where I could just buy a 200 motor for a few hundred dollars? I'm trying to think out my options of what to do with the 200x. I don't have the time to rebuild the engine right now and that could cost me a few $$$ in parts sence some are MIA.

I looked on ebay the the lifans where for sale for $1500 or so. I could find the time to build the engine for that. Any one try the cr125 engine before? I can fab parts to make different engines fit if I have to? A guy I work with said he put a 500c honda engine in a 200x. I also saw the 200x engines for sale around $400 on ebay. I guess what engines would bolt on and be ready to go and what have other people put in the 200x frame? I'm just looking for options on what to do. I kind of want a custom 200x that I could ride around.

Mart put a 125 in his 200x. He made it look easy. I'm sure it isn't.

I saw the video of his 200x and then I was wondering what all was involved in putting the engine in. It looks like a lot of fun to ride. That might be more of a project then I have time for now that I think about it.

I have seen it before with the same seller when he is low on stock or out of stock he jacks the price way up. Wait and keep looking. Also the Chinese 150 that was supposed to be built by powroll may show up again.( I don't think it sold). I am happy with my liquid 200cc build. Also you could rebuild yours. If you go the Lifan, Chinese engine route you will need to re wire your bike. Pretty simple to do. There are many options for you out there. You may have to wait and choose the right option for you. I would like to see one of those zongshen 250cc build. Not sure if it will fit though. My 200cc was a tight fit.

I've always wanted to do a 200cc blaster motor in a 200x.
Air cooled 6 speed with enough market support to hit 30hp+ with bolt ons.

I have a 200 lifan engine I will sell you. I used it in my 200x for awhile. It runs good. I took it out to put a big red engine in my 200x.
