I've got a couple ATC110's with the two piece rims. Tires are about shot, and at least one of the rims appears to be leaking between the halves. I've heard these are a nightmare to change, so I'm inquiring in advance if anyone has tips on what to do.

I've done 4 wheeler rims and routinely change MX tires on my bikes...what makes these 110's such a bugger? Also, I'm assuming RTV will seal the two rim halves? Thanks.

You should be able to change the tire just as you would on the atv. The only difference is the rim does not have a bead so the tire is a little harder to get off the rim.
There should be an o ring between the two rim halfs. I would suggest using a tube or definitely use rtv on the o ring when you install the new tires.

I would suggest never using a tube unless it's necessary. Tubes are a huge failure point.

So you can use a regular ATV tire, but it won't ever pop into a bead. It just stretches tight to as it approaches the lip?
