Ik its not a trike but everyone on this form seems to know alot about ever thing i am going to go and look at a Polaris 250 trail boss at least thats what i think it is from my reserch and looking at pictures online becasue the guy that has it doesnt know what it is. Anyway i was wondering if they are good quads he says everything works on them except the brakes ive got him down to 200$ for it. Do these quads have any major problems with them? And I don't know the year of it so when i go look at it is there a spot on the fram that will say? And were would the vin number be aswell?

There is a picture of it does anyone here know the year just by looking at it? He also says its a 2x4https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170929/a317f0c2bb53e36ad4d0bd056e65acad.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170929/10857fad99af883c8f35f2509345daa2.jpg

The biggest problem with those is that they were made by Polaris.

Honestly I've never owned one so I am far from the expert. I've heard they can be a real pain to work on. In my experience riding with others who were riding Polaris, they don't seem to hold up as well as Japanese machines. It's like comparing a Harley Davidson with a Honda CBR. Harleys are cool, I have one, but the CBR is going to last a lot longer and require a lot less attention. It really comes down to how much you're going to pay and if that's the machine you like. I do more work on my Buell than I would a Honda, but I really wanted the Buell and I love it.
