85 ATC 250r
I'm having trouble with jetting a 38mm keihin air striker
It's breaking up and cutting out on acceleration.
I get a little of GO at 1/8 throttle but i have to turn the fuel/air all the way out and its super lean.
I tired all the jets.
This is what i have...
Bored 50 over
Main jet 178,180,182
Pilot jet 50,52,
Needle 3rd notch
Gold series exhaust
Carb spacer
Vforce reed
NEW items
Stator
Cdi box
Voltage reg.
Coil

Compression test 182 psi
I don't know whats next?

What is it in Hempstead right now? ~35-40 degrees?

Start with a 52 pilot. Main should be around 172. Take off carb spacer and run full airbox with filter.
Your airscrew should be between 1-2 turns out. 1.5 is the sweet spot. The bike should come on strong and go back to idle quickly when tuning for your pilot jet. More than 2 turns out on airscrew go with a bigger pilot. Less than 1 turn out on airscrew go with a smaller pilot.

Full airbox will promote a rich condition and he may be able to get away with a 52 pilot if it’s the largest he has on hand.
