I have a 185S and had some problems with the ignition module on the cam unit but no smoking and thought, OK, I have ridden this thing for a while when do you know it's time to rebuild it? I have a spare 200S, used and thought that it would be a good idea to upgrade to it and rebuild it first. What is a reasonable cost for rebuild that is besides doing your self, which I probably can, but find it's alot more fun just riding. Here in CA, the dealer shops talk >$600 to bore, top end and carb. Sounds high, but then what would a factory rebuilt fresh engine cost?? Any comments would be appreciated.
