I remember on one of the forums there was a guy making calfab replica swingarms for the 250r, anyone on here remember seeing that? Not sure if it was this forum or the trx250r forum? Sure would like to get one made

There is a shop in CA, Motogpwerks, that took over the CALFAB name and makes aluminum swingers for motorcycles. People have approached him before but they were wanting Tecate swingers. If you have an example to work from and enough orders, you might convince him to make them. He sells the motorcycle swingers on ebay and the workmanship appears top-notch.

Dimitris re made the tecate cal fab swingarm, I'm not sure about the R though

I’m sure if we can get a group order, they will make them. Are you looking for the ATC250R ‘85-‘86?

I contacted Motogpwerks several years ago and he didn't seem interested at all in touching any three wheeler swingarm. I offered the whole group buy thing and had several guys interested in buying 86-87 Tecate swingarms, but he pretty much just stopped responding to me. He did quote a price around $750 which is a steal in my opnion.

Maybe this go around would be different? I would love to have a new Calfab for my 250r.

I tried calling Motogpwerks also and even offered sending one of my Calfabs in to duplicate the design and he wanted nothing to do with it.

Www.hreatv.com....he's about one of few shops that will build trike stuff so bark up his tree. After all calfab is just aluminum and a name. I'm pretty sure blueline graphics makes the repo stickers sells on eBay lives by me and knows hre plus is a member on here too. Aka blue27

If you want to throw HRE into every conversation on here, at least know what they can and can't produce.

It's kind of a waste of everyone's time if he doesn't build aluminum swingarms.

He has build everything I've wanted. We just built me reinforcement aluminum rings for my kfx700 front rims other day. If he don't have the swinger send one in. He will build I know. If you need 130% confirmation I'm over there Tuesday again.

We didn't find any calfabs in the swinger pile. He will make. Needs dimensions or send one in to reproduce. We talking triz, tecate, 200x or 250r?

Email him, don't call cuz he is a one man show so phone calls you don't hear when using power tools.

This was the LSR HRE modified for me and the new + 4.3 swinger he build for me few months ago. His quality is better then LSR...plug was lighter and stronger.

again if want one you need to email him. He makes repos of already alot of stuff...including atc250r frames.
