Does anyone have tips on rebuilding speedometer drives? I found a few gummed up gearbox drives about 10 years back and started messing with them but never completed the project. As I’m cleaning up the shop I found them again and figure I might as well finish them up. Any tips on making these operational gain? Is there a specific type of grease I should use?

How do I tell what one fits what trike? Does the gear ratio change dependent on the front tire size or is it just dependent on the rotation direction?

Thanks!
