New Tecate owner. Rebuilt the 34mm vmx carb. Slide looks perfect. DG exhaust. Compression feels good. Just seems low end is rich. It will rev out. My 86 250r feels way more crisp.. it has a Paul turner high rev. Any tips?251462251462
Pull the power valve arm cover off the right side of the motor, Regi it up and see if the arm moves. If you need to disassemble the pv arm remember the nut that holds the arm on is LEFT hand thread. You will have a very hard time finding a replacement if you break it.

Do you know that it's correctly jetted?

Start and warm it up. As you are putting around turn the choke on. Does it get worse or better?

Stock jetting. I'm in Dallas. Its about 530 elevation. Stock except for a slip on air filter, full dg exhaust.

Yeah you have to jet it for the modified intake and exhaust.
