Did the 1986 Honda 350x come with Red Plastics or just White???

Hi Everyone,

Im looking at a 1986 (suppoivly) Honda 350x but it has red plastics and not white. I was wondering if Honda ever gave the option to chhoose Red for the 86 model? or could you only get the 86 in white?

White far as I know. There are many subtle differences between 85 vs. 86. Clutch cable routing is one noticeable difference.
86 models also had a cover over the steering stops on the lower triple trees. 85 models didn't. If a 86 front end there will be 2 bolt holes for it.

another easy way to check on the engine is the vin. if it is te08e-5000001~ = 1985 atc350x, te08e-5100001~ = 1986 atc350x

plastics are interchangeable between the years.
