I see in the service manual that the 200e's generator is apparently rated for 45 amps at 5,000rpm, at night (whatever that has to do with it). I'm looking to add an LED lightbar to the front of the trike that pulls about 6amps or so, to run in conjunction with the factory 45w (~4 amp) headlight when the switch is in the "HI" position. This shouldn't cause any problems with the electrical system, right? All the wires up in the light housing look like they're 16 or 18 gauge, so I figure they can take the amperage alright, although I don't know about the slide switch on the handlebars or the regulator. Still, figured I'd run it past y'all before I go frying things that don't need to be fried.
