Chain tensioner tab bent! Now what ??

Hello again . The metal bracket the chain adjuster slide fits in is bent ! Now what ? Hammer it back to the original position ? But then will it still be strong enough is will it now be a weak spot? Thanks in advance for the intelligent answers and no I didn't do it ! It was bought that way ! Its a Red 83 200ES

Just bend it back . It’s important to lube all the 17mm bolts and pivots so the carrier can move freely while adjusting the chain and most importantly is to tighten the bolts so it doesn’t put stress on that little chain tensioner .
