I started out on a 250sx. They are great for the trails and woods. They are very reliable. Im 15 right now and Im riding a 350x and T3. I would go with the 350x if I was you.

i've never rode a trike trailprotrailpro so a 350X sounds like a little to much machine for me...what do you think

Ya could be. Try starting on a 250sx or 200x. If you are planning on jumping it in the future, go with the 200x. They also have good power for their size and are also reliable.

everyone says the 200x was good power fir the size, but doesn't the 200s have the same power :rolleyes: also what are you going to ask for your blaster?

Go for a 250sx .. yet I am not sure about more topend then the blaster though.

200x... ;) Just make sure you sit as far forward as you can so the bike will turn the way it is supposed to...and "lean" to the inside when you turn. This will help you a bit so you don't make a fool of yourself. :D No one told me this when I first rode one... :( :?

being you are comign off of a blaste rif i were you id get something along the lines like a 350X or one of the 3 2 stroke trikes you cant realy go rong with any one of then just as long as you get a liquid cooled version.... but thats my opinion because i dont liek the air cooled versions... lol i dont have that problem though because they never made an air cooled tri-z :D

Ok well I believe I read that the 200x has 12hp and so does the 200s ..... I know ones manual and other semi but still ... same hp to the rear wheels, it will feel like different power but I dunno.

You maybe right as for power,but speed a 200X is faster.

200S = 12 horse power

200X = 14 horse power

look it up if ud like....

like i said though you coming off of a blaster will be downgrading by going to a 200x or s like i said get a 350x or a 250 2 stroke.

If you kind of feel like youre outgrowing your Blaster, consider the 200x a lateral move, and not really a step up. The 250's are a little more comfortable in size, but what is gained with the extra cc's is kind of lost in the added weight of the machine. Youd be happy with them, but probably disappointed if you were looking for major performance improvements over your Blaster. The 350x will give you major performance gains, but with a very controllable powerband, and one you wont outgrow, especially if youre looking at a 4 stroke.

i suggest the 350x. i am 5' 11" and anything smaller would be uncomfortable.

but going from a quad to a trike is a different ride all together.... I would say a 200x then move up to a 350x.... imho

just get a 2-stroke 250 and never have to worry about power...

He said he doesn't want a 2-stroke trike... :rolleyes:

By the way, I think a 250SX would be a good choice...not because I have one, but because it is reliable, it has pretty good power, a more sport look than the big red's (if you want more a sport trike than an utility one, this option is to consider), and it has reverse! :-P

well said Jeff!!

I have 200X and its pretty good trike, no problems with it, but since I bought a Warrior, it seems to lack a little top end, maybe because the warrior is a 350, but if your comin from a blaster, the 200X 250SX or 250ES would be a great trike, actually, dont forget about the 200 yamahas and didnt yamaha make a 250 4 stroke? i just havent been thinkin trikes for a while, have to get back into the groove wink

hey
i never expected to get this many replys...i think i want a 200X or an SX :)

I want $2200 canadian for my blaster...i payed $2500 canadian and put a new 14 tooth front sproket on it and a chain. The guy i bought it from said the crank was rebuilt along with the topend but im not positive its true.

atvrider12764: I'd need to see pictures and and it'd be about $800 difference unless your 200 is in amazing shape plus you'd have to pay shipping on both vehicles....if you still are interested let me know. DOnt flame me if my figures are off but where i live i can get $2500 for my blaster.

I think you should go to a dealer that would let you ride some of the trikes or find someone who will let you ride thier trikes before you make your mind up. I think the 200-250 four stroke trikes would satisfy you for now, but you will soon want to move up. Especially since you are wanting something faster. Also, don't rule out the 2-stroke trikes until you have ridden one. I have had quite a few of both 2 and 4 storkes. I really like the 2-strokes. It also depends on what kind of riding you do.
