Looking on parts fiche I do not see the metal stiffener bracket listed for a 350x tank scoop. My other scoop is missing this bracket so looking to score one.

its prob one of those items that only comes with when you buy the final part. They still do it today. Id not worry about it. A piece of galvanized angle bracket cut in half with two holes drilled in it will do the same thing.

Weird, I've never seen that bracket before and my 350X had it's original tank and shrouds on it when I got it. Mine's an 86, what year is yours sledcrazyinct?

This 350x is a 1986. I only have one of these brackets. Sure would like to know part number.


its prob one of those items that only comes with when you buy the final part.

Back in 2004-5 I ordered a bunch of parts for this trike, including a set or gas tank shrouds I haven't installed yet, and this bracket wasn't included.

Interesting, the part diagram shows the boss on the plastic, but no bracket. Maybe this was some sort of aftermarket only part?

Can't really check my two 350x's since my ugly one had home built fender flares (stainless steel lol), and the other has aftermarket plastics.

Interesting find, have to love the ebay title, the 89 350x must be even more rare than the 87 350x =). Yea I know it's 86 and it's a mistype. Seems like the seller knows they are hard to find or something based on the price, maybe they know a bit more about them?

My 350X is disassembled right now but I looked on the back of the tank scoops and one of them has it and the other does not. Not sure if it went missing or if there ever was one on that side.

My trike only had the one as well. Strange no part number listed for it. Seems like it could keep them from cracking

Really weird so many people have them only on one side? I wonder if it's the same side?
