ok here we go, I belong to the Honda sxs forum and I had posted some pics of my 1986 Honda 250es on the big red section...another member had seen the pics and he thought I should post this on this site which I did not know even exsited... so here is the story... I bought it new in 1986 for 1700.00 and they were on sale from 2100.00 at rapid sports center in coon rapids... I rode it a little bit and then put it away as I traveled a lot... I only used it about 3 or 4 miles a year just to drag the deer down the logging road back to the cabin...never through the woods. so it has 118 original miles on it and that is it...hard to believe I know but it is true...100% original tires and all... 1 year later the pressure was on Honda to remove it from the market as it was deemed a bad design.. to many injuries because kids did not know how ride and lean into a turn... mine has 118 original miles on it and I have been told mine has to be in the top 3 in the 48 states as far as miles and condition... one sold for 5300.00 in Canada a year ago.... enjoy the pics...

Thanks for sharing your story and posting up pics. She's a thing of beauty alright. Nice to see there are still these gems out there that haven't surfaced yet. Pretty cool you're the original owner too - not many can say that. Only thing that would top it off is a photo of you with it in the Honda showroom from '86! Ha ha

Beautiful rig for sure! I happen to live by a guy who sold a very expensive one in Canada and your machine tops his in my opinion. His had an aftermarket muffler on it for some reason but was a very nice machine just the same. I think he sold his privately around 8K when it didn't meet his minimum of 10K on ebay.
