Finally got a Big Red!

I picked up a 85 250es over the weekend. She has had a hard life by the looks of it but it still runs like a Honda. I had never rode one of these trikes before Saturday. I love it. It is such a tank and rides awesome. I’ll be going through this one to bring everything up to par sometime soon. Question for you guys is this. The exhaust is rotted to hell which I know is common on these. I have a full Cobra pipe for a 250sx sitting on my shelf in the barn. Will this pipe bolt right up? The cobra pipe will work but you might need to make a bracket to hold the muffler at the grab bar . Frames are different .

The cobra pipe will work but you might need to make new friends. Nobody likes the obnoxious sound they make, especially on an otherwise tame (but extremely capable) Honda Big Red ATC. They also give us a bad name when riding in areas where noise is concerned .

I agree with that Shortline. I'd search for a used OEM muffler or a more modern quiet muffler from a quad or something.

Nothing else I own is quiet [emoji23]. I repacked the core already plus it has a spark arrestor. It’s the utility pipe, not the megaphone.

Their are Kimpex aftermarket quiet exhaust for the 250es on eBay .

I did see the Kimpex ones on eBay. A bit more than I want to spend at the moment. My 250r project has sucked my trike funds down to nothing haha
