Just picked up another 250sx that has seen better days. Have cleaned the carb and am surprised at the lack of a pilot screw. This is a first for me. Rebuilt my other sx and es carbs, and a few fourtrax carbs, all with pilot screws. It appears to still be a qa02a. Has anyone seen this before? I couldn't find anything after an hour of searching.

Is it possible that you have to remove the plug at the engine side of the carb bowl where the pilot screw usually is?

Thanks for the replies guys. If there was a screw under there though it wouldn't be like the other carbs I've seen...259651

My guess is that is a replacement carburetor from the mid to late 2000’s when the carburetor was still available from Honda .
That’s about the time I started seeing those caps over the air fuel mix screw .
