YTM225DX Smoking too much

Hello Three Wheelers, I just received a used YTM225DX which is in riding conditon but It smokes a lot. I am going to try and replace the piston rings. If anyone out there can give me a heads up on this procedure, It would be most helpful. Thanks, TOC5

As long as your going to open up the top end, you should do the valves also. New valves, valve seals and maybe even new springs. Check the play in the connecting rod. Good luck and keep us informed of your progress.
