IS there any way I can fit these on my 86 ATC 250r? They came off of a 86 TRX 250r. I am willing to do a little custom welding but not much. Are nerf bars a good idea to put on 3 wheelers or will they get in the way of my feet. Thanks for the feedback

I may do this in the future as well. Your best bet is to get some smaller diameter tubing that fits snug in the nerf bar tubing. Notch one end of the small tubing and weld it to your frame as mounts for the nerf bars. Slide your nerf bars on and drill bolt holes so you can slid them off should you ever want to.

the 85 R that I went to look at the other week had nerf bars that he claimed were Hondaline items along with the short track kit and front wheel guard. Dont know if it was BS, but they look like they are made to fit perfectly. Definitely not a hack job.

Here is a pic of a Tri-Z with nerf bars, I got the pic off ebay a while back. If you look at the front where it mounts to the frame it looks like it was made to fit the bike.
