Beautiful Christmas Special 70

Bought this little 70 a few weeks ago from someone with a gigantic collection of monkeys and all kinds of honda's.
It came with another almost new '85 and a brand new trx70.
But the Christmas is the most beautiful of them all.
I think that a few of you guys know where it originaly came from;)

That's possible, I also own a FatCat.
The restoration was done by VMS. But I didn't know that when I bought it, I found out later when I saw a picture
of it on the internet and talked with Mike. It is in an absolutely perfect condition, NOS Fenders, NOS Tank etc,etc. I think the best bike I own at the moment.
So again the best compliments for Mike!

My first thought was it's one of Mike's restorations, all his projects look perfect. Hell just look at his latest project "1972 Honda ATC90 mod big Al's special".

Beautiful bike! Mike's work is always perfect. I was one of the lucky ones to win a Blue 70 in 1982! Wish I still had it!

I have the caution label with screw too.
But can someone tell me why these 83 manuals are so hard to find? They made "standard" 70s in 83, did they? So there should be enough manuals out there am I right?

Yes, I tried ebay.com, google, picclick.. But the only picture I got is the one from this thread and one from cmsnl.com which was already sold..

Bought my manual and flyer off fleebay @ five years ago, guess I got lucky.

I’ve been searching for one of those giveaway flyers for a few years now myself. They would show up on eBay years ago but I have not seen one lately.

Those 2 front fender stripes are no problem for me. The bike is almost completely nos, including both fenders and gastank.
Almost had the manual a few days back, but the seller does'nt ship..
