I've seen 2 different styles of 86 headlight shrouds and I'm not sure why there is. One has the warning label embossed and a decal on top, and the other just has the decal, but in a different location. Is one a factory replacement, sort of like the rear fender? Also, should both of these styles of shrouds have the HONDA decal on the lower fairing?

the embossed is the original that came on the bike in 1985(when it was really made), the one with a sticker is factory replacements. If you are going after a OEM correct rebuild, you want the embossed one, same goes for the rear fender.

I have an 86 with the original bezel. However, I've never paid any attention to the style of the warning label. I'll have to have a look when I get home today and see. I'll post a pic on here if I remember.

I was just looking at an original 87 200x headlight, its embossed. The newer production 86 200x wasn't embossed, nor was the 86 350x headlight. I don't know if the 350x was original or not.
