Hope I don't regret it but I recently sold my beloved '86 350X and purchased this.266527 It's an '07 YZ450F with a DT Motorsports conversion kit. Thing pretty much fell apart first time I took it to the track (literally, air boot and exhaust fell off) but I tightened everything up and lock-tited everything. Motor ran well though. Took it out in the snow for a bit during this blizzard we had and it was all I could do to keep the back tires from just spinning. It's definitely got balls. Not enough seat time yet due to time and weather to really determine and its gonna need a little tweaking and suspension adjusting, but hoping it will be worth it.

The more time you spend on it the more you'll like it.
I've had my 450 for a couple years now and its the only one I ride- even though I have plenty to choose from. Once you get used to the physical size being bigger than a "normal" ATC you probably won't miss that 350X.

If someone is actually wanting to ride, this is probably the best way to go.
With the scarcity of OEM ATC parts and the increasing prices, most factory trikes will probably be relegated to garage decoration.
It's been years while out riding public trails near me, since I've seen another trike rider. Only at trike specific events do I see them anymore.
As for suspension, practically every machine will need adjustments rider to rider and for terrain. Getting something modern with compression, rebound, and high/low external adjustments is leaps and bounds above the old stuff and once figured out, will make riding it more enjoyable with just a few clicks.

I appreciate the votes of confidence. Once the weather clears and some of the snow melts and I get her out I'll snap some more pics. Thanks guys!
