look on cl this morning and there's a 350x for sale or trade. it's suppose to have a new head (350x guy in Florida who sells 350x parts)? new timing chain, chain, rings, piston. it needs front brake pads the clutch needs to be adjusted more (doesn't want to go into neutral while running. ) needs decompression cable ( my knee agrees!
I'm trying to get rid of my trikes, plan was to keep the 2 185s with titles my original 350x (3rd owner)
I've been pricing parts and thought get it as a parts bike.

that's probably him. the guy I got it from told me his name is Lou,
i did find the decompression cable is working on the motor, its just the head side has a threaded rod like a brake cable instead of a round slug. And the head, the lever is a flat steel with a hook, where a cable would loop around it. I'll probably modify something to get it to work.
at least I have another trike to compare everything to. jim
I met Lou at a flat track race in FL. He came down to meet up with a friend of mine to talk parts and watch, I was running my trike with quads. He seemed like a decent guy from the little time I spent with him. Nice pick up, that's pretty nice for a parts trike! Lol

plan is to make a list of parts needed and get everything working. It's not ever going to be 100% original, I just want it all working. Keep it as a back up or get it titled and be able to take it out and ride it with the kids.
or maybe sell or trade it off in the future. jim
