1st/2nd gen 200x with 250x engine possible??

I always wondered if anyone ever attempted or has done a 250x engine swap into a 1st/2nd gen 200x??? I think you would have better luck in the 2nd gen frame more but if anybody has done it post some pictures would love to see them and how you did it!!!

250x motors are huge vs 200x. a 2nd gen 200x prob would be better, however a few guys have already converted 250x/ 300ex atvs to trikes...it might be a tad faster and less fab work.

crf230 is almost bolt on... i don't see why the 250x will not fit?

Just about any of the singles can be made to fit but if permanent modifications have to be made to the X's frame it's a step backwards.

If it's also going to add weight to a trike that already could use suspension improvements then effort and cost would be better spent addressing that first. I know there are some pretty powerful 4-stroke sport quads from the 80's-90's that have terrible suspension which is clearly the limiting factor.
