anyone have any luck modifying other model fenders onto different trikes? I've got more 185s trikes than I have rear fenders. I have a really nice 79 110 rear fender and a 185s seat pan. looks like I just have to cut the front for the pan hooks, drill out where the studs go thru and the rear studs for the rubber grommet.
if I had a 110 I wouldn't think about cutting this thing up. jim

My daughters 200s has 400ex rear fenders. They fit good with minimal trimming and I have a second set waiting for an upcoming project. The second set was yellow and I got it off Ebay for 70 bucks.
I saw a machine once that had rear fenders made from a blue plastic barrel! It had been cut and shaped with a heat gun. It actually looked all right.

I'll post up a pic here shortly jim mac. Got big snow here last night. Had to plow out and get in a quick powder run on the snowmobile.

so I've got this beautiful rear fender with mud flaps, no seat and instead of cutting it up......I might just go buy a 110 to attach to the fender. I've got a cracked 110 fender, I'm not going to feel bad about cutting that one up. jim

I'll get a pic up on that 200s with EX plastic tommorow Jim. Just got done digging out from the snow and my house generator quit.
How come tinkering on trikes and sleds is so enjoyable and wrenching on a generator or lawnmower sucks?

I did a little trimming and some heat gun work but nothing really difficult. I have a yellow EX rear plastic painted white for an upcoming project. The new plastic really seems more durable. It seems thicker and the edges are shaped to give them more strength. Plus they aren't 35+ years old!

It can be a lot of work.
I have put 110 fenders on a 200m. looked and worked very good, not to hard.
I put 200 (no letter) rear fenders and a 200es trunk on a 200es, I it was a ton of work. remade the rack, the mounts and had to elevate the seat.
way to much work, but looked good when I was finished. I would not do it again.
