1984 atc 200x ?

I'm looking at a 84 200x that the seller says lost all gears, but still runs good. What all could this be?. I have rebuilt several 200, 200es before, but nothing with a clutch, or kick start.

Possibly burnt up clutch or stripped out sprocket shaft .

Thanks, he said 3rd gear was acting up and his kid was riding shifting from 2nd to 4th and then nothing. I'll tear into when it cools off some in nw florida.

Sounds like a bad shifting fork. Possibly a broken gear as well.

I starting to order parts i know i will need when i tear the engine down and would like to know what complete gasket set is everybody using right now. I'll wait on the bearings until i get into it. I've used vesrah sets on 200es, 200, etc without leaks before, but is been a while.

200X gears were weak, it needs a full rebuild. kicker gears always sucked on them. They need back cut a machined shim added and a new kicker spring. I have done many. I will not another one. Bad design, tired 40 year old motors...No thanks. A different motor is better swap like CRF230...

Is it located in Blountstown Florida?
I just looked at one with the same description, real interesting seller too.
I rode it 2 months ago, it needs everything, it was slipping bad then and smoking a carton.
He wanted 3k and said he had the title, lol the title didnt match the trike. He also said he had a leather tank cover, But I never saw it.

Update, Top (R) shift fork broke in half, reason why it whould not shift, 3rd gear chewed up. This engine has been thru alot. I found all the parts to fix it on fleabay
