250r hp ratings?

I was just wondering what my 1985 honda 250r's horsepower rating was from the factory? I just got my engine done and the guy that did it put it on a dyno... So I know what mine puts out right now. This guy has 2 trx250r's in his shop right now (one is his and one is a customer's) he is putting cr500 engine's in both of them...... his is lowered and stretched.... should be pretty dang nice. my 250r runs like a champ now, I love it even more!!!!

I'd rather have him post the dyno sheet. Its always good to hear about a nicely tuned r putting out 55-60hp. Is it on gas or meth.

I guess I thought mine was pretty good.... but at the rear wheels it is only putting out 27.5hp I guess there must be something wrong with it. Well actually I found out today that there is something wrong with it. I rode it 1/4 mile and the engine locked up on me. found coolant in the cylinder, so now it is another 3 hour trip to take it back to get it fixed again and then another 3 hours to pick it back up........ crap!

yup, that is the one. It felt kind of doggy on the bottom end and I had a couple other problems with it so I took it to a guy that works at a small engine shop in Mt. Pleasant that works on stuff out of his garage. I picked it up last night, (he did a couple hop ups and rear carrier bearings) and it felt good. I got it out today after work (rode it out of the shop and down the back street) it ran good at first but when I started slowing down it didn't feel right and it didn't seem like it got up to 70 like it used to. (my old piston's skirt was broken) Anyways it died on me. So I started it back up and babied it back to the shop, when I got about 20 feet away it died........ tried to kick it over, nothing happened it wouldn't budge..... He says he is going to take care of me. So I'll let ya'll know how it turns out.... (MONEY PIT!!!!!) ;)

29Kw as stated in the '85 R brochure or 38.8hp.

is that at the rear wheels? I know on cars that one hp rating is at the flywheel and the other is at the wheels.... Just wondering.
