WOW....
I have a set of brand new Mugen front shocks and the Mugen rear shock (that is on my bike though). I figured that this would go for about $5-600, but $900 with 8 days left is great. I was watching this because I had a Westcoast swingarm on my R at one time, and was looking for a +4 to +6 for the dunes. It's not worth $900 to me though. Awsome to see what the parts are worth.

Man, those are great parts! Just need an extended axle and a short track kit to have the ultimate R. Only way it could be better in my opinion is if the swingarm was a CAL-FAB.

I had a Factory Honda 250R in the late 80's and it had a +2 Westcoast on it. The tough thing on the one listed is that the brackets are missing. They are used to position the rear dogbone to either lower or raise the bike for flat track or motocross. In this case the +4 would only be useful for a dune bike.
A couple years ago, I bought the Mugen rear shock brand new from Sudco for $100. I should have bought all of them. They had them on the shelves from the 1980s. I also bought the Showa Mugen front forks for $100 too. Not a bad deal considering what it costs today. I guess that a lot of people are starting to collect this stuff. I bought a flat track kit for $250 a couple years ago (still in the box) and one just sold for $560 on Ebay. That's inflation.
That's why that guy with that HRC 250R on ebay was trying to get $3k for that bike. I would have bought it for $1500, but $3k was a little extreme.
I have to admit though, The guy is getting top dollar. Vintage or not. Simple math puts each of the items at $300 in value each.
