How to carbs from drawing moisture

Any ideas on how to keep moisture out of carbs if the trike sits for 2-3 weeks? I use non-ethanol gas. Gas turned off. Will not start unless you drain carb. 2 different big reds. 1 usually has so much water in it that it dosen't even smell like fuel when you open the drain screw. The other will be milky looking. Once you drain and flush carbs they will start and run. Should I just leave the drains on the carbs open so water can't collect? I am in south Alabama, so terrible humidity and not uncommon to have 45-50 degree temp swings in 24 hrs.

I’d try leaving the gas turned on. Start it in a week see how it is. I leave the gas turned on all my trikes. I don’t start my big red for six months at a time fires right up. But I live in Arizona it’s not moist like there. It can be super humid during monsoon but never have water in the carb.

Can run your vent lines longer , same with the bowl drain / overflow .
Today’s fuels suck even the non ethanol sucks and goes bad quickly .

I drain the carburetor bowl on all of my machines every time I finish riding them.
I use ethanol free pump gas blended 50% with 100 octane AV gas.

Probably multiple opinions on this, but I treat all my fuel with Sta-Bil. Curious if you are using any kind of treatment.

The new fuels evaporate much faster than the older formulas.

2-3 weeks? I agree with leaving the petcock on. Just keep an eye on it and make certain fuel isn't leaking past the float and the overflow drains are clear.

Are you buying E0 fuel from a place that sells a lot? My experience has been that places near bodies of water sell the most E0 fuel because the boating public doesn't want to wreck their high dollar engines. Everywhere around me has lakes and in the summer the E0 pumps are frequented by boaters more than anyone else.

The E0 fuel won't chemically last any longer than the E10. It's imperative to buy fresh fuel and add a stabilizer to it.

How do you store your trikes? Outside and under a tarp is certainly going to collect moisture. Even just being outside and in something like a barn or carport isn't protecting the from moisture in southern humidity conditions. Even an enclosed shop without AC is going to collect moisture, but it won't be as bad as outside or in a carport.

I'm a Sea Foam convert. For a large portiuon of my life I totally ignored fuel additives, thinking fuel distributors knew best. That's certainly not the case. I started using Sea Foam on a regular basis in engines that irregularity sit. I've experienced it work.
