Hi Guys and Gals.

New to 3 wheelers, just picked up a 82’ Honda ATC200 to fix up, it is mostly complete but needs some TLC.

Not new to old Hondas or old bikes which is why I went the ATC route, my previous rebuilds were a 70’ Honda CT 90, 77’ Honda XL 125, 77’ Honda CT 125, 71’ BSA A65T, 80’ Yamaha GT 80.

I figured if I’m starting down the three wheeler route I might as well join and spread the joy.

Llöyd.

Welcome fellow 'berta boy! Quite a few of us around actually. Nice line up you have. Been your way dealing with my other hobby of old military vehicles....nice country for sure.

Thanks for the welcome, I dabbled in rescuing an old military jeep, kept it as stock as I could 😎

Yes I can see it's stock:naughty:, nice work! How ironic that I also have a M38 Cdn CFR# 52-31658. What's your full number, I can get you an original build date for it if you want.

Here's my build thread. http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/190421-My-1952-M38CDN-Refurb-This-will-Take-Awhile!

Mine was 52-31597. Only 61 before yours, built about 3 weeks apart.

The frame and body were solid but was missing the drive train and interior. Being a jeeping guy I started building it to drive everyday but then…… well I went for a billy goat go anywhere jeep.

GM 4.3 v6, munchie 465 4 speed with ultra low first, Dana 300 t-case, Dana 44 front and rear with lockers. On board air, YJ springs, IH scout front disk and rear drums.

So yeah about as stock as Tredeau is popular in these parts.

^ Ha ha that's awesome! Love the comparison with old sparkle socks too :-). He's definitely time expired by about 8 years.

Do you have the original data plate for your jeep, and can you still read the stamp number on the left front frame by the bumper? Here's a picture of 52-31596, the unit right before yours.
