Can you dig the crap out with a wire from a wire brush?

Thanks jim,I'll look into that.as I'm looking at carb, there is a "ball bearing that is pressed in from factory.what is that for?it's at the very end of the horizontal where the fuel comes in....I need that out and pressed back in lol

The 200X carb is a 24mm while the other 200s all use a 22mm carb. Will one from a different 200 work? It will if it bolts to the intake, but I'd change the jets over at the least.

I use mercury powertune on my carbs dissolves everything and makes all the brass shine again. Regular carb cleaner doesn’t work.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230507/824a6ce4dc787929e000f1db2fd74be8.jpg

Short answer is yes you can.
I use the Zep brand rust remover....but I also like to heat the Berryman's can with an electric heater to help things along.
You may need multiple soakings and boilings and air....and I mean multiple.
Here's a link to my carb cleaning for my 84 200x.
