the rear shock on my 84 200 x is kaput! so are the forks. been doing a little searching and someone posted a 07 gsxr rear shock is a bolt in and go. when I do ride the trike, it's on dirt roads pretty smooth we are jumping or anything like that. So are these a pretty decent swap? or is there something else available? jim

nothing is a bolt and go on two different machines. Just get the shock redone. I had one redone and re-valved for me weight and +2 swingarm and it was $150 bucks. Your just buying older stuff not even meant for it. You can send yours or have kevin at jogaca suspension works do it. He's done about 7 machines for me.

from my understanding, there's a bladder inside the shock. does the 150 include a new bladder also? I'm not sure what condition the shock on the trike is in. jim

why are you asking me? the 200x blatters are always fine. I have removed so many its not funny. taking apart these shocks is childsplay, adding a different spring is ever easier....revaling is where the higher skills come from. for $150 or so kvin has awlays build a shock as perfect as my local guy. I have redone works shocks on my blaster he did...im 39yo and that thing rides better then my IRS honda utility! Thats getting elkas over the winter.

call kevin. Hes a ncie guy to deal with. Send it out over winter get it back bolt it on and go. Certain people are masters as certain things so let them do what they do. My 200x is stupid smooth. I did however have me local hydrualic shop make me a longer line so i could relocate the bottle back on the frame like the 350x has. I never liked the stock 200x short line anyway.

I just reread the first reply and realized you included his number. when I know I'll have time to pull the shock, I'll give him a call. thanks. jim
