Hey folks, hoping I could get some advice on why I'm not getting spark. I think I'm getting close to the culprit though!

Here's what's new on the 250sx:

ignition coil
spark plug
CDI
Ignition
Kill switch

I've measured the resistance on all the CDI plug points, and they all read correctly as per the manual's instructions. I also "bypassed" the ignition switch and kill switch via a hotwire and still didn't get spark.

After all that, I suspected the problem could be the pulse generator gap. This forum post - http://www.3wheelerworld.com/archive/index.php/t-185320.html - described that to check if the pulse generator gap is good, measure the voltage between the ground and blue/yellow wires coming from the pulse generator. So I did that, and got NOTHING. I actually tried to measure the resistance here too and got NOTHING.

However, the thing that confuses the hell outta me is why I would get the correct 300ohm resistance at the CDI plug if I don't get the correct reading from the wires that come from the pulse generator. I should also mention that I took the cover off and measured the resistance of the Stator Pickup Coil and it was good.

What am I missing here? Do I have a bad ground at the pulse generator? Or possible bad ground wiring between the pulse generator and the CDI? Or maybe a bad gap??

Thanks :)
