FNG from NH

Hi guys, been lurking here for a few weeks and finally decided to register. Nice to see a forum going strong, most of the car stuff I'm into has gone to facebook and stuff. Anyway, I just got a 84 200S for a steal a few weeks ago, my first wheeler since my ATC110 25 years ago. I've had it out every weekend hammering some NH trails trying to keep up with my friends on bikes, I forgot how much fun (and work) riding a hard tail is.

Hardtails are fun, but the trails up here are just too rough to ride so hard all day, so I'm picking up a 200X frame tonight and planning to autoX swap it over the winter. Hoping suspension helps, I've never ridden an X before, but either way I always have fun on a wheeler.

Going from hardtail to full suspension is a great thing. But be careful, as soon as you get 1, they keep coming!

Have you ever ridden the trails at Clough in Dunbarton/Weare or Boundtree trails in Henniker? They are closed this time of year, but worth checking out. Bear Brook also opens up at times when conditions are “good” for ATVs/dirtbikes (little snow but lots of ice, so the snowmobiles aren’t out, but perfect for the ATVs),
Also note you need a NHOHRV sticker for these trails.

I actually live in Weare, only a few minutes from the trails at East Weare and I've ridded my trike there a few times this year before it closed. I haven't been up to the Bound Tree trails on the trike yet but I have been through most of that area many many times in my 88 4Runner. A buddy of mine lives close enough to ride from his house into that network from the Bradford side, we are planning to do it once the mud season is over. The Clough/East Weare/HopEv trails are a lot of fun, we park on the Weare side to avoid the busy parking lot on the North end and ride all day. I get a lot of thumbs up and looks with the trike which is pretty cool.

Nice thing about a trike, lifetime OHRV plates for $54.50!

Looks like I can add attachments now... maybe only on the PC. Anyway pic of my 200S the week after I got it. I have it in my shop now for some work and got rid of the CB175? headlight, replaced with a spare 200X light and bars from my other trike project.

EDIT: added a current pic. Waiting on a couple of parts still but hoping to get some snow rides in before winter ends.
