ATC 140cc suggestions

Hi!

Im new to the group. I got an atc roller project and was thinking about doing a 140cc clutch swap. Any tips? I noticed prices for 140cc engines on amazon/ebay have become much more affordable. I am thinking of trying out of those $300 range china engines. Any tips? or warnings before I get started?

What roller are you starting with? From what I know, if they're horizontal cylinder engines, they are a bolt in in a ATC70, but you have to modify the front motor mount in order to put one in a 90/110/125. I've ridden a 70 with a Lifan 125 manual clutch engine. It moved pretty good. It was fun for the maybe 5 minutes that I rode it. I also wouldn't want to ride one for very long because they're just so small and cramped.
