I got a 250 SX that was "rebuilt" by the PO. I had to rebuild the transmission due to the "rebuild" and was on my way to putting together the top end. I decided to make sure he had the rings in correct and I found the top ring with no marking and the 2nd ring the a Capital "R" the Honda manual shows the R as the top ring and the Clymer shows a T. I looked at the old piston that was replaced and found those rings exactly the same. Anyone seen this? Thank you.
