Need help with '85 250SX seat lock lever spring

I removed the seat from the fender this morning to give everything a good cleaning, and the spring popped off on the locking mechanism. Could someone be so kind as to post a picture similar to this, showing the proper orientation of the spring in place?

I still have the seat separated from the fender and I have just loosely screwed on the nuts so as not to lose them before I put everything back together.

If I can remember I will try to get a picture of mine. In the mean time you should look for a seat for sale "used" on ebay and see if there is a picture on the ebay ad that will show you how the spring fits.

Thanks for the reply. I actually just came across a video last night of a guy repairing the fender on his 250SX. He conveniently flipped it over and got somewhat of a close up of the lever with the spring attached. I was able to reference that for reassembly. Now just waiting to get the carb back from a friend of mine who offered to give it a good cleaning, which in the past 40 years of owning this 3 wheeler has never happened. :lol: :D
