Hi all.
I have a honda 250r that i bought new.I also bought a 185s at the same time. The 250 ended up being just to difficult to trail ride so the 185 got used. both machines are totally stock and all original. The 250 has less then 100 hours on it. Both machines have been stored in a heated garage. I am getting old enough that perhaps i should find homes for these toys or do i just let the grandkids have them? If i were tell sell them where is the best place? I would think the 250 would be more of a collector piece at this time. Thoughts?

It’s up to you either way. If you sold them you could go buy a nice quad for the grand kids to destroy

What kind of condition are they in? You likely do not want the gradkids on the 250R unless they are advanced trike riders.

The 250r is basically like new stored in a heated environment so just a little dusty. i bought it new thinking it would be a good trail rig but it was just to squiry to ride around trees and stuff so it was just left at home. the 185s runs good and the kids just rode it around the yard. your right about the 250. i dont think its safe unless the rider has experience. Whats a 250r worth? all original just like i bought it.I see prices online but not sure there fake or actualy sold. i am in washington.

An all original 250R, if described accuratley as you mentioned, could fetch upwards of $10K
Post some pictures and I can likely get you a pretty descent appraisal.

I was assuming it was a 3rd gen liquid cooled 250R. You machine is BEAUTIFUL! Because it is a 1st gen, it is actually worth less than what I told you.
I can safely say where I live (Pennsylvania) that machine could fetch upwards of $6000 fairly easily. It looks like it would really clean up!
