Sand Stars in winter?

I've got my summer tires, 22inch Spidertracks, but now I want to get some paddles for winter time fun. I like the agressive tread of the ITP's but am wondering if I have any better options. Are finned sand tires better than the straight paddles?

I think youll be a lot happier with mud tires than sand tires in the snow.
