Anyone have any info about this old part? When I originally purchased my Green Machine, it had a roost boost on it......I have since removed it and found it in my toolbox lastnight. I spoke to Answer a year or two ago and they said that since a roost boost is so simple it won't hurt anything electrical wise if it were to fail....I'm considering using it when I dragrace at Glamis but want to see if anyone else has any experience with them..good or bad.....thanks in advance.....Todd

i heard it does nothing. what is it supposed to do increase the spark?

'88? I sure hope you have a quad.. otherwise you are going to either a) get hailed or b) get made fun of.

You have to get pics of the stem decal showing year and model... If its a trike people will gravle at your feet!

well its definately not a threewheeler, wasnt the atc 250r id label on the neck? that pic looks like its sitting on a frame under the gastank of a quad to me. maybe it is a miss print or something, till we see pics of the bike itself showing this label, we will just have to say nice try but need more evidence then that to believe it is an actuall 88 atc 250r.

Thats not an '88 ATC, rest assured of that.. lol. If it was, it would be all over the site by now.

I took a close look at it earlier and if you look at the last 8, you can see that it is not perfectly aligned and it is not shaped like the other 8.. it has weird area's on it. Just pointing that out to anyone who can't see how you can tell its a photoshop.

LOL :lol: Its a photoshop, But its is actually taken from a frame sticker of a trike!!!. I just changed the 6 to and 8 and the production date I did the same
