:?: somewhere i heard that honda made a acrylic windshield for the atc's
anybody have any pics? thought that i could make a reproduction of one as the glass company i work for makes and bends plexiglass and lexan for boat and aircraft canopies.
close ups where they mount to the handle bars would be great, thanks :-D

:-D went into the shop today and played with the plastic bender a little.
makes pretty good bends in 1/8,3/16,1/4 plexi material, lexan seems to take longer to absorb the heat to finally bend.
i'm getting the urge to just make up a custom windscreen/shield, just dont want it to look rigged or ugly.
hopefully i can find some pics of the factory ones.

You just missed a couple original Hondaline plastics fairings/windshields on eBay say the first week in February or so. I'll go back to my watch list and see if they are still on there. I also borrowed a Chapperal (sp) parts manual from a student at school and was amazed at all the stuff that was in there compared to Dennis Kirk. I made a wish list 2 pages long! But, they got like 2-3 pages of fairings in there ranging from just the plexiglass to molded plastic/handguard with just a plexiglass top. Honda ones looked pretty close to the Maier aftermarket ones, Had red plastic around the headlight, clear windscreen and like black molding around the lever/hand area. The windshield could be exchanged for a number plate.
