I have my 86 350x, just got all new plastic and it has a brand new motor in it, i put in a want add for a set of back rims and i have been called buy 2 ppl who want to sell there complete trikes, let me know if these prices seem resenable for what they are, thanks andrew
1985 350x all orignal including the tires, frame was painted yellow, so the guy took it all apart, he wants 1000 for it but i am giving him a 250r front end and he will take 100 bucks off, so $900 for the trike in peices
second trike
1986 350x, converted to a 452x, it has complete cobra exhaust, 4" exstended swing arm (he told me the name i forget it now) all good shape white plastice, one good set of tires on it, and a set for ice racing, bad thing is the motor died, and he parked the trike and went and bought 3 banshee;s, he wants 400 bucks for it does that sounds good I thought for just the exhaust and swingarm it was worth it
so $400 bucks for a 452x doesn;t run full cobra exhaust and 4" swing arm

Yup.... get the 86, then send me some pics of the extended swinger! I've been thinking about extending a swing arm and looking for some ideas. I have an extra rear end (minus bearing carrier which is in route to xowner). Being 6'4", I would like the extra height, length.

This is just my opinion but....thats not an 87, why would you put the tag right there? They go on the flatspot on the right hand side. I think someone is just messing with you.

Thats great, glad somebody has their hands on an actual 87! Now you have to make a custom 87 452X. As for the pin # on the stem, well why would someone go through the trouble to put it there to mess with you and sell it for so damn cheap?

yeh, look where teh tag is on the 87 SX, its in taht spot ;)

If it is a 87, the last 2 Letters before the series of numbers at the end should be HM with 6 numberd after it..
F = 85
G = 86
H = 87

Well i got some good news, I went to get an ownership today for it and it doesn;t exsit, so i either wrote done the vin wrong or it is a 87, i would give you guys the vin but due to the fact my quad was just stolen and all this stuff here is going around about owner ships and serial numbers, i would rather not give them out over the net, is there some place i can look at a list on the net or anything, i have to go get my owner ship for the 452x tomorow and they are looking into into this one that might be an 87, i will let you know as soon as i know

What a joke man, I think this is a hoax and this guy is a tool.
For what it's worth, my view is that it's not an '87 bike. The UK boys can back me up on this, but all non-US bikes had that " aluminium plate" (yes, metal plate, not a decal) riveted to the headstock and it doesn't hold the model year, as in the picture. The model year is held on a decal exactly the same as the US bikes. The plate itself holds the information on the bike (Honda Motor Company, Model Code, Disclaimer, etc etc) and has the frame number stamped into it.
Next time I'm home, I'll get a detailed picture of one off of my bikes and you can all see what I mean......or maybe one of the UK boys will beat me to it??? To me, it looks like someone has either superimposed that "1987" onto the picture or just stuck it onto the plate.
Just my point of view, but I'm almost certain it isn't an '87.
Cheers,
Jez

We may never know if it's a true 87 or not. You say it is in parts? Does it have the red mudflap?? Are the parts that are there in good condition?? I know that nobody knows for sure. but maybe it has a key ignition??? Maybe you could check

Guys...
The frame is yellow. Someone painted it. Its likely they would have taken off the year tag. The '1987' tag looks like its barely stuck on there.
Someone is jacking with you.
The guy wont even give the vin number....what a tool!
Dude get off this board and don't ever betray our trust like that....
just awful!!

Havn't been on here since the net has been down the last couple days,
Darius1502 I dont know anything more than you do about this frame, i am not a tool or trying to be, i bought the whole trike last week in about 500 peices, i took the vins to the licence office, when i put the 452x into my name and they told me it doesn;t exsists, i will go get the vins again and send them to one of the few guys who PM me so they can tell me what it comes up as

Packhamstruck, don't expect to post something about an 1987 trike with no good solid proof and not get flamed for it. Redeam yourself and post that v.i.n. pronto. Later
