i was looking at a old white bros article and the carb kits they had advertized for the 200x said from 83 to 86. i looked at the current catolog and they still make the carb kit but it sayes for 83-85. will the carb kit work for my 86 200x or was that a mistake on the old article?

I don't think the 83-85 kits will swap w/ the 86-87. Moose lists 2 diff. part #'s for these years.

Sometimes aftermarket carb kits are made for a wider range of years than the stock kits. Normally the only difference is a seat, o-ring or neddle and such. After the rebuild, i would ponder as to why I had left over parts, hehehe. Call White Bros to make sure. I've been to thier store in Yobra Linda, CA, I think that's the city.

i looked at a carb kit on a 84 200x. it lookes like it will work. the only thing that can be diffrent is the angle of the adapter from the stock intake boot to the carb

i am not talking about the carberator rebuild kit, i am talking about the performance carb kit that comes with a 28mm carb, twist throttle, and adapters to fit
