I have a '92 XR200R carb on my '85 200x. It is a 26mm Keihn. It doesn't mate perfectly to the intake manifold, but it doesn't leak.

I am using the 27.7mm carb that Pro-Flo makes out of a VM 26mm. Mikuni no longer makes a 28mm 'round slide'. It is only like $120 or less. I used the Mikuni manifold, it needed some modification. I am looking into make some type of Aluminum manifold to mount up smoothe with no obstructions to airflow. This is not really a "bolt up job" but worth the work. Really, for a nice job you will have to get a manifold made to fit. I have not found anything suitable yet. Sudco used to carry a 200x manifold but I was told they no longer carry or produce this item. Let me know how your search pans out. I believe 27mm to be the optimum size for a 200x. 28mm is a tad too large. 26mm is good as well (XR carb)
